As you can imagine I have been looking for jobs lately. With only 23 days until I graduate I have been putting my name out there, sending resumes and of course, getting rejection letters. I have gotten a few in the past few months but today I got one that really stung. It was from McKendree College in the midwest. This was for a Resident Director position, something I really wanted and at a school I really really wanted to be at. I really don’t have much else to say about it, I’m just really bummed about not getting it. I have a few more interviews lined up, I have plenty of resumes out there, but now I start to worry, will I get a job, and why don’t people want to hire me? I have a high GPA, I’m well rounded, I have experience, I am in an honor society. What don’t they like??
Oh well, I guess I won’t ever know. I’m off to another interview, this time with Ameriprise Financial, maybe they will like me…..

I have been using Twitter for a while, but have since found a new service, Jaiku. Not sure if I will switch, it has some great features, but is missing some key things, like a good API, good apps for it and IM/Jabber support. If they add all those things I might look to switch. Either way keep an eye out for it, or am I the only one that cares about this kind of stuff?

I am looking for a full screen RSS program. I want it to scroll any RSS feed headlines on the screen so that it can be read from a few feet away, either screensaver or not. Any ideas?

Last night was the finally performance of Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” here at CSC. Rob and I were both part of the cast, I playing Theseus, Duke of Athens, and Rob as Oberon, king of the fairies. Rob and I gave almost every night for the past two months to the play and last night it all came together and was done. It is sad, it was the first play I was in here at CSC, and unfortunately my last. I had so much fun, I wish I had started this acting thing so much earlier in my college career, it is, simply put, a blast. I will never be able to write here so much fun I had, so excited I was each night nor be able to express the feeling I get when I deliver a line and the audience delivers it back with applause or laughter. Ok I know this whole thing is sounding sappy, so I will stop here. If you didn’t see the play, you missed out, you really did.
On another note, I had added more pictures to the “Cats” album on Flickr. I have come across some new really funny pictures. Keep checking the Flickr page or here for updates when I add more, the newest ones will show up first in the list. Click on the picture below to get to the album.

On one last note, I am still posting on Twitter very often, again you can see it on the right side of the page, or you can subscribe to my Twitter RSS feed or you can subscribe to Twitter from the main page and get updates via text message or AIM. Check it out!
